Appointment by Broxtowe Borough Council

We are pleased to announce our recent appointment by Broxtowe Borough Council for 'The Provision of External Design Services for Print'.

The Borough of Broxtowe lies to the west of the City of Nottingham and is bounded by the River Trent on the south and the River Erewash on the west. The Borough, granted status in 1977, lives by the strap line; "positive people, positive leadership, positive partnerships". 

Multi-Purpose Community Centre

The Stifford Centre has appointed DBDC to help develop a multi-purpose Community Centre within their existing site. The Project value will be approximately £6m. DBDC will undertake a number of capacity building tasks as well as develop a detailed business plan and a fundraising strategy. 

Progressing Faith Based Education

DBDC have been appointed by Ebrahim College to support their organisational development. DBDC will be carrying out a number of capacity building tasks, they include amongst others; a detailed Strategy for Development, Quality Standards (ISO9001:2008 and Investor in People), Financial Management and Fundraising Strategy. 

Front Line Capacity Building

The Community Consortium Against Poverty (CCAP) has appointed DBDC to undertake a number of capacity building tasks to help support the development of the newly created organisations. Amongst the copious tasks, DBDC core focus will be on developing the Quality Standards, Business Plan, Fundraising Strategy and help capacity build two social enterprises linked to CCAP. 

 

DBDC is awarded Investor In People

DBDC is pleased to announce that we have achieved Investor in People recognition from Capital Quality. The assessor recommended for DBDC to be given full recognition after his assessment and recommended DBDC to the Capital Quality Panel as being:

“totally satisfied that Double Barrel Design & Consultancy Limited meets the requirements of the Investor in People National Standard”.

Website launch for Sanco

Sanco is a software development and consultancy company that operates internationally. DBDC has just completed and launched a new website with extended content management functionality. Sanco specialise in developing mobile applications and providing a wide range of business consultancy services to an ever-growing client base reaching Asia and the Middle East.

Commissioned for National Consultation

DBDC have been commissioned to undertake a national consultation exercise on behalf of the Bangladesh Centre. The consultation will focus on establishing key issues that are being faced by the Bangladeshi community across the UK. The consultation will be targeted at key cities including London, Luton, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool and Edinburgh. The result of the consultation will be made available in early February 2009. 

DBDC to develop £2.5m Heritage Centre

DBDC has been appointed by The Bangladesh Centre to redevelop its existing site into a National Heritage Centre for the Bangladeshi community in the UK. The project will cost approximately £2.5 million and the new Centre boasts a series of facilities, which will be open to the public. DBDC are currently undertaking a national consultation exercise to engage people from the Bangladeshi community from across the UK.

New Consultancy Services

DBDC launches a series of new consultancy services designed to add value to existing and new clients. The new services include fundraising, quality standards development, strategic consultancy, capacity building, training and much more. The services are now available to clients, but will be launched formally in early 2009.
